Re: so - conversation - what's everyone watching these days?

My current shows are Medium, Ghost Whisperer and Flash Gordon (which
has indeed become very interesting lately).  I am trying out the Sarah
Conner Chronicles tonight.  I'm mainly interested in seeing Summer
Glau again.  I'm going to be watching Kyle X Y when its new season
starts tomorrow.  And then there's Paul Johannsen in prison orange on
next Tuesday's One Tree Hill.

I also expect to watch NCIS and Boston Legal next week because the
episodes sounded interesting in TV Guide.  These aren't shows I watch
regularly.

I do watch Moonlight, but without much enthusiasm.  It's on right
after Ghost Whisperer, so I neglect to turn off the TV.  I keep on
comparing it to Forever Knight and it definitely suffers in the
comparison.  Though I have to say that I find Beth more likable than
Natalie (says the Janette fan).

Re Phillip Pullman-- I tried to read The Golden Compass and couldn't
manage it, but the reviews I've seen of the movie sound interesting.
I expect to catch it in my local second run theatre.

Re Stardust-- I didn't go to see this in the theatre, but my coven
decided to watch it on their movie night.  Let's just say that I'm
glad I didn't pay to see it.  I like my fantasy on a more adult level
and I didn't appreciate the evil witches.

I'm currently reading Tipperary by Frank Delaney, a novel about a
traditional Irish healer.  My enjoyment of this was enhanced by seeing
an ice show with the Irish band Celtic Woman performing.  I had never
seen or heard them before and I'm now a huge fan of theirs.  I put
their DVDs at the top of my Netflix queue.
