"football"? Don't you, like, have to use your _feet_ for it to be
football? ;-)

We got rain, snow, sleet, hail, sun****ne and just about everything
else while I was at work today - and a blizzard as I drove home. None
of it lying (yet)(it might overnight when the temperature drops enough
to freeze the water already on the ground). Not nice, not fun.
Apparently there's to be an *average* of 8 inches of snow in the UK
today - so I'd guess the ski resorts will be going "woohoo!"
And my new camera tripod arrived today - lighter, more compact,
smarter than the old thing I "inherited" from hubby and more in
keeping with my compact Samsung camera. (if I had one of those big
DSLRs the old one might be better - but it's also bl**dy heavy to cart
around with me on a shoot) If the weather was better I'd go out this
evening and try it out on low light level evening shots - but I think
I'll hibernate by the fire instead.
