Really?  I had thought he was American.  In all the behind the scenes
interviews that are shown during commercial breaks on the BBC America
he seems to be speaking the same.  Like I said, I don't really know a
Welsh accent but the character of Gwen seems to have a more distinctive
way of speaking than the others and at times the way she says things
sound very Scottish.  When James Marsters popped up on the show I
found it very amusing that he's playing with an American accent on a
Brit show after playing with a Brit accent on an American show.  This
makes two ex Buffy actors to appear in Who related shows.  Perchance
Russel is a Whedon fan?  I'd love to see Torchwood or the Doc run
into Serenity some time!  That would make a hell of a crossover.
Better yet I'd love to see a new Spike based show or movie or maybe
that long proposed "Ripper" show for Giles?  It's not like Whedon
has alot on his plate anymore.
