Well, I'm getting the first disc of Torchwood soon, so I won't be
doing the Dr. Who background.  I know about Dr. Who conceptually from
Who fans I know.  I just never had any inclination to watch it.  I may
change my mind after watching Torchwood.  An e-mail friend told me
that she started watching recent Dr. Who after seeing Torchwood.  She
told me that she never liked Dr. Who before, but she likes the most
recent incarnation.  Perhaps I'll feel the same way about it.

Re Pu****ng Daisies being pretentious--I think it's wonderfully
original.
