This is a wonderful production of P&P, isn't it? Love Colin Firth,
love to loathe the obsequious Mr. Collins. I didn't realize they had
re-edited it. I thought there were one or two items different, but
assumed that I simply didn't remember them. FWIW, Lydia did make the
'fagged' comment later at the Netherfield ball. (I had recorded the
program and seen your post before I watched so it caught my
attention.)  I haven't seen the Emma they plan to air, and may skip
Sense and Sensibility. I really like the movie adaptation from a
couple of years ago, and am not sure I'm ready for another
interpretation just yet.

We had nearly 3 inches of rain yesterday, and the wetlands behind our
house merged briefly with our basement. Today it is 40 degrees and
sunny, tomorrow and the weekends forecasted in the teens. Woo hoo.
Perhaps if I make mud angels in the back yard they will freeze into
attractive lawn decorations.
