Had a great view of the eclipse from southern New England. Clouds
drifted away shortly after sunset so got to see the whole thing. Not
that I sat out and watched it -- too cold, too slow, and too many
other things to do. But I checked in periodically and got a good show
through the upstairs window. I was only awake until shortly after
totality, though. Had to take it on faith that the moon god would
defeat whatever demon was swallowing it (insert your own version of
mythology here) and emerge safely on the other side. :)
