Actually the "edited" versions of Season 2 have been remarkably 
unedited - though there is an explicit warning for any violence and 
strong language.

"Blink" was SCARY!! :-)  I'm surprised there wasn't a huge outcry from 
parents of traumatised kids!  (remember Dr Who is meant for children) 
Back in the old days the storyline with the original Autons had kids 
having nightmares about everyday plastic objects and the BBC got a lot 
of complaints.
