I'm well aware of that but that's a show where it's to be expected
and in fact that's really the whole reason for that show.  In Torchwood
seemingly the whole world (if not universe) is meant to be bi***ual or
at least bi curious.  Now that truly is Science Fiction or possibly
fantasy.  I have no problem with their being relation****p stuff and
maybe some hanky panky in the show.  It's the horrible execution of
it that I have problems with.  In no way does most of it feel
organic or in any way how many of these characters would actually
react.  When the most believable thing in the series is the fantastical
stuff and not the human relation****ps/***uality you really need to
take a step back and figure out why that is.

"Veronica Mars" is easily in my mind one of the finest shows of the past
decade.  It had the style and wit of Whedon's shows but instead of
high school and monsters being the background it was high school and
detective/noir.  It was taken way too soon and had much more good left
in it.  I won't really be missing "Battlestar Galactica" as I feel it
has more than run its course and they are smart to be wrapping it up.
I really enjoyed the Mini and the first series but it has steadily
declined since then and they've come dangerously close to painting
themselves into a corner a time or two.  I think "Doctor Who" is
something you either get or you don't.  Especially the original series.
The new series is different but at its heart still the same.  It's
far more of a drama now with emotional weight than it was in its
original incarnation.
