IIRC, one of the early SG:A eps involves a planet where a Wraith ****p
crashed millenia ago. The team finds what appears to be signs that
the Wraith resorted to cannibalism. Then they discover that one
Wraith survived, and that this one Wraith is unusually strong -- their
usual weapons, and even a grenade, don't stop it. It heals much more
quickly than other Wraith.
Come to think of it, that ep of SG:A may be an homage to HL. A bunch
of Wraith, isolated on a planet, feeding on each other's power, until
only one remains. That one has absorbed the others' power, and become
stronger. Hmm.
