I love my library for many reasons, and audio books are at the top of
the list. For many years I had a long commute to work, and got caught
up on a lot of classic (and not so classic) literature. I especially
like the Recorded Books (TM) productions: unabridged with many
excellent readers, clearly state what tape or CD you are on, and no
annoying intro or background music to "set the tone" or whatever some
companies think it lends. I've found that audio books keep youngsters
and others entertained on long car trips where cell phones, texting,
and MP3 players are banned. :)
