Okay, I forgot. I watched the new show called New Amsterdam and noted
the similarities between it and The Highlander. Sadly lacking in
hair, but with a back story that tells how the guy became immortal.
That's worth something anyways. A helping and a half of angst, which
seems par for the course. Apparently, this guy gets to die if he finds
his true love. So of course he goes looking for her. So much for
happily ever after, or the possibility thereof. Not even a Gathering
to look forward to. No swordplay so far. The guy builds authentic
antique furniture, which he can do because he built furniture way back
when. He is also a cop. And a photographer. He also has a cop partner
who is a female, a good-looking female, who seems to be curious about
his background. Go figure. Will they never come up with a new idea?
