Nope. If you didn't like the Firefly pilot, you're probably not going
to like the rest of it, IMHO.
Note: when Fox first aired the series, they showed episodes out of
order. The order is very important. So a lot of people who watched
the eps when they first came out weren't much impressed, but liked the
show a lot more when it came out on DVD. AFAICT, hulu shows them in
the same order as the DVDs.
