Re what drew me to HL-- I love swordfights, but most of the time I
couldn't have cared less about the quickenings. There were a few
spectacular quickenings, but most of the time they bored me. I
primarily watched HL for the actors, the scripts and the flashbacks.
I have been to the Highlander Official Forums so I know that there are
a huge number of fans who really are primarily focused on quickenings
and whether Immortal A could beat Immortal B, but there are other
reasons for being fans. I think that HL reached more than one
audience.
