The thing about global warming is that it's a very gradual effect, and
it's an average across the globe. Local areas can and do experience
unusually cold winters in any given year; they're just more than
offset by unusually hot winters elsewhere.
I know you were just being funny. But I also know some people who
seem to genuinely believe that because their local weather was
unusually cold this year, therefore global warming is false.
