I have two pairs - one bright green, one a more discreet silver/grey. 
  With fluffy socks they make great slippers, for summer they are 
ideal for slopping around in.  For the beach they don't suffer from a 
wetting and keep the sharp stones (and occasional bit of glass) away 
from sensitive tootsies.
