Could it be that the pilot episode on the new DVD set is the cut that
originally aired? I have never seen the "extended" version that
apparently came out on Columbia House but have read that it times out
at around a solid 30 minutes. It would have been cut down to fit in
commercials.
If this is correct it would be nice to have both versions...
