I have for sale the 1st edtion, hardcover, out-of-print book "The Murder
Of Bob Crane: Who Killed the Star of Hogan's Heroes?" by Robert Graysmith
(1993). This out-of-print edition contains 274 pages of text as well as
black and white photographs profiling the life and tragic death of
Hollywood actor, Bob Crane.
Front Jacket Excerpt:
"In June 1978, Bob Crane, the star of the sixties sitcom Hogan's Heroes
but
now reduced to playing on the dinner-theater circuit, was found bludgeoned
to death in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he was appearing in a comedy titled
Beginner's Luck. Scottsdale police (the hero of the book is chief
investigating officer, Ron Dean) were not used to crimes of this
magnatude.
They made several mistakes in the first hours of investigation. And that
investigation took fourteen years-until at last one person was indicted
for
murder."
Included in the book are photos from both Bob Crane's private life as well
as vintage photos from the series Hogan's Heroes and photos related to his
murder.
