I don't have the Paramount DVD sets yet, so I cannot compare Paramount
vs. Columbia House. I do remember that the Columbia House VHS were
better than the CBS video versions. Columbia House seems to have
access to a really nice set of master prints.
If we want to compare them objectively what we need is stats. What is
the average bit rate for each? Chances are that if one of them is
cramming more episodes on each disc then its avg bit rate would be
lower than the other.
