Were Germans offended by the show?

by "Bruce Atchison - author" <batchison@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 21, 2007 at 10:41 AM

Greetings;

I was told that Germans were offended by Hogan's Heros. Is that true? I
heard that it was taken off the air because somebody complained about how
Germans were portrayed in the show. I saw nothing offensive. Hogan's
Heros
spoofed the Nazis, not the resistance workers or the German civilians. I
sure would appreciate learning the real reason why the show disappeared.

Sincerely,

Bruce Atchison - author of When a Man Loves a Rabbit (Learning and Living
With Bunnies).
