John Banner was being discussed on a radio show this morning and it
made me think of the series - watched it on and off since I was a kid.
Here's a question - might have been answered before - so forgive if it
has been.
Somewhere in the distant past I remember watching a show or TV movie
with Hogan, Schultz and Klink as characters...taking place AFTER the
war. IIRC, it dealt with Schultz and Klink trying to get from the east
to the west...as if they wanted to defect and needing Hogan's help. No
uniforms, all dressed in mod attire for the day...slim suits with
narrow ties and Peter Sellers like over coats...The surroundings would
have been set to mimic East Germany in the 50's or 60's. Does anyone
remember this and what was it? (that is if I wasn't dreaming asleep in
front of the tube...)
