I am assuming that was his decision as opposed to the producer's.
I don't know why, but that always annoyed me. I know most think of it
as a unique trivia characteristic, I thought it ridiculous. Assuming
it was Earl's doing I would--if I had been the producers--fired him
and gotten an actor without such silly demands.
At any rate, why did Earl insist on this (assuming it was he, not the
producers)? And why would the producers go along with it (again,
assuming it was of his doing not theirs).
I know he's deceased now, rest in peace guy. I know it's a trivial
thing, but it always annoyed me.
