Should we really blame NBC?

by ElBob-O@[EMAIL PROTECTED] (robert armstrong) Feb 7, 2007 at 10:25 PM

They did keep Homicide LotS on the air for seven years, despite
just-okay ratings. It always showed that they were genuinely proud of
the series.

Is it fair to blame them for tweaking the series from the fifth season
on, with intra-office love interests, occasional overly melodramatic
(and overacted) scenes, and that unctious rodent Falsone? Well,
Falsone...

The show remained largely excellent to the end of its run. Do we like
NBC for their involvement or blame them?

"Aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"
