Just a funny coincidence I guess, but I notice that three of the
commercials/PSAs for Homicide on the Sleuth channel feature guest stars
from the series: Wilford Brimley (prescription coverage kind of
commerial), Tim Russert (Public Service Announcement) and Jake
Gyllenhaal (ad for new movie Se7en).
Of course, when JG was on HlotS, Robin Williams was really the "star"
and Jake only had a few scenes as his son (probably one of the best
episodes).
And offscreen Tim Russert introduced his cousin Megan to some French guy
so she fell in love, married the Frog, and left the series. Boo hiss.
