Re: OT: Raines

It was better this past Friday. Instead of toning down Raines'
wisecracks they increased the wisecracks from the other characters, so
the show has a kind of Howard Hawks movie banter consistency. I'll keep
watching for a while.

Yes, I taped it so I could go out Friday night, and I found myself
rewinding a lot; likewise backing up when I watched the first episode
online.

NYPD Blue was like that a lot of the time; for the first few seasons it
was actually worth the trouble.
