I think I was one of the very last gals to become a Riot Chick, since
the show had been canceled. In fact, I only found the group by looking
for information about the cancellation. So I was a latecomer all the
way around. I've met some ath-ers in person; others I just feel I know
that way. I discovered this group, and Usenet, for that matter, at a
lonely time in my life, and I'm grateful for both those initial
connections and for the ones that continued into the new phase of life
including older children, finally having a career, getting married
again and becoming a blogger, too. I guess my blogging community has
taken the place of this online community. I remain convinced that
cyber connections are real ones.
Appreciatively,
