Agreed.  I think all these "revelations" (like the Christian imagery
stuff from earlier this week) are pointless.  Why is she going on a
book tour of the US now?  What's there to promote exactly?  Can't she
just answer fan questions on her website or something?

Actually, a friend pointed out that Dumbledore wore a purple velvet
suit when he went to meet Tom Riddle the first time.  Maybe that was
supposed to be a "sign".  I actually think she's just doing this to
have people go back through the books and look for "clues" about
Dumbledore's sexuality.  Sexuality and sexual preference (aside from
the occasional kissing scene) has been completely absent from the
series, since it's aimed primarily at children.

I'm not even going to comment on that whole "sorting hat" thing, but
it was amusing.
