Okay, I just know that Omar is not long for this world and that makes
me sad. He and Bunk are the two who seem to stick to their moral
codes (as skewed as they may be), and the look on his face when he
found out about Butchie's murder was heartbreaking.
Also heartbreaking: Michael, Dukie, and Bug at the amusement park just
acting like kids and knowing they have to go back to the life. Truly
depressing. Though Michael has killed, one still gets the sense that
he hasn't lost his soul completely.
And how about that look on Bunk's face when Freamon goes along with
McNulty? I didn't see that coming. He didn't even hesitate.
I'm liking Clark Johnson as Gus, but the whole newspaper thing isn't
nearly as compelling as the education focus from last season.
