I think The Greek and Spiro thought it was possible, but I don't think
they would have expected it so quickly either. Their comment that Marlo
is no Proposition Joe leads me to think that they're not excited about
Marlo being the one who buys their supply, although I could see them not
caring too much as long as the money keeps showing up, since they're
probably dealing with guys like this in ****ts all over.

I could see Marlo getting away, I could also see him getting killed with
the implication that nothing really changes -- in a way that would be in
keeping with the general tone of previous seasons where Avon Barksdale
gets caught and nothing really changes.

I'd love to see Brother Mouzone come back for this purpose just because
he's such an entertaining character, but I figure if anyone does it, it
would be (in order of likelihood) Omar, Cop, Michael, Greek's hitman,
Charles. There's so few
I can see a lot of other characters getting killed, too, including
McNulty, Slim, Omar, Michael, Chris and Snoop, Bubbles, Daniel's
career.... Landsman had better be looking over his shoulder for that
matter, watching out for a pastrami sandwich with his name on it.
