I think I know which episode you're referring to. Was it the
numerology/Ouija board/seance episode? I can picture the man (Jay
Novello as Mr Merriweather) who did act rather effeminate in that role.
However, as I remember it, the comment used the word "odd" not
"queer." It was when Mr Merriweather asked Lucy and Ricky their
numerology numbers, and [sorry I don't recall the specific numbers] then
he commented, "My, we're all odd, aren't we?" That's when Ricky gave
the look you're talking about.
