Ethel's Piano Playing

In one of the early episodes "Breaking the Lease", Ethel's playing 
perfect piano as the episode opens with the whole gang singing a song.

In later episodes, Ethel's piano-playing is horrendous.

I only noticed this discrepancy the other day, even though I've watched 
each episode numerous times.
