Yes, the first one you mentioned was when the girls were rehearsing to
play for some club benefit of theirs. The song was, "Twelfth Street
Rag". They just couldn't get the tempo...super slow! Ethel just had to
slow down to accomodate the rest.
I just read the remainder of your post! Right it was, "Twelfth Street
Rag"!
I don't recall the one in the country. Need to think about that one.
