I concur with you, I have never read anywhere where Lucille Ball had a
problem or didn't like William Frawley. Vivian Vance was the only one
from all I have read. It is a shame that Vivian caused all the tension
that must have been felt on the set ( one certainly could never tell by
watching I Love Lucy that there was this tension). William Frawley and
Vivian Vance were offered a chance at their own series, Bill wanted to
do it, Vivian said no way, that is a shame.
