Camryn Manheim of `The Practice' and Catherine Bell of `J.A.G.' Debut
Two New Characters on the Kellys
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 4, 2005--S****tsBlast, a producer of
innovative animated content for the Internet and traditional media,
announced Emmy-winning actress Camryn Manheim and Catherine Bell of
"J.A.G." and "Bruce Almighty" have voiced two new characters on The
Kellys, the first animated series about a stock car racing team. The
next episode, "Tradin' Paint with Life", will be available this
Wednesday only on www.nascar.com.
The Kellys, is a series about a dedicated racing family that hails from
Vermont, whose fans root for them as the most popular underdogs on the
racing circuit.
According to Peter Kjenaas, producer and director of The Kellys,
Manheim plays Delilah, a bartender at The Whiskey Drop. Dee, as she is
"affectionately" known to all, has no brakes on her mouth and doles out
advice whether you ask for it or not. Catherine Bell plays Red who is
red-hot and a perfect match for Denny Kelly, the team's lead driver.
Kjenaas said, "We are extremely proud of having Camryn Manheim and
Catherine Bell join the cast of The Kellys."
Manheim and Bell join the cast of The Kellys, which features highly
regarded voice-actors such as Nancy Cartwright (The Simpsons; Rugrats;
Kim Possible), Rob Paulsen (Pinky, Elmyra & the Brain; Land Before
Time), Jess Harnell (Alf; Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Kath Souci
(Rugrats; Winnie the Pooh) and Corey Burton (101 Dalmations; Toy Story
2).
