[Excerpt]
..=2E.Nobody in the cast comes away from this unscathed. But Phillips and
Stoltz -- the latter as the smirky tabloid reporter -- look the
queasiest about what they're doing to their careers. Catherine Bell,
who plays the engineer, makes a heroic attempt to distract from the
awful dialogue she has to speak by gratuitously shedding her clothing,
revealing tattoos in places you never would have guessed back when she
was the straight-arrow Col. MacKenzie on JAG. Unfortunately, that's in
the second hour of the show, leaving four more to go before those
Florida State physicists get about the business of destroying all
creation, which in The Triangle seems sadly like mercy-killing...
CB's "disclosures" alone should make watching at least the first part
of "The Triangle" worthwhile for fans [tattoos in strange places...who
woulda' thunk it?]...
