I saw this coming but was surprised at the reasoning behind the split
between Kevin and his former girlfriend (pre-accident). I knew the
relation****p was going nowhere but thought it was because she was
thinking,
"You want me now that you're in a wheelchair but not when you could walk,
play football and run off with your drunk friend." Remember when they were
fussing, and he left her standing there at the party? This, in my opinion,
would have been a more interesting slant for the writers to use in order
for
Kevin to think about his past and how the accident may have changed him as
a
person. Then he would have to prove himself to his past girlfriend, that
he
had changed. I'm surprised that the subject was never approached at
length.
Now he's just feeling sorry for himself and not taking responsibilty for
his
actions and past attitude as super duper jock. opinions?
