"Steven O." queries
>(Is) Joan Of Arcadia too subtle for American audiences?
in a word,...No
complex shows may not exactly flourish on American TV,
but there have been a few,
"Homicide", "Picket Fences", "Northern Exposure" etc
someone mentioned 'the same old story' syndrome
well, how much variation is there in "CSI" ? - and "Law and Order"
has been telling essentially the same story for 16(?) years
Darkness, darkness...
much of this season has suffered not so much from being dark,
as from being mediocre, painfully mediocre
as one who is still hopeful about the show, and encouraged
by eps like the rock, paper, scissors effort, I am concerned that
they seem to have drifted away from the elements that drew loyal
viewers in the first place.
