I really would have been interested in seeing Satan in some form or
another...not to make it an "action" show, but to have him give Joan
something more to think about when it comes to the nature of good and
evil.
On the other hand, I'm not sure that's what the m***** want to see.
There are many reasons why the show is struggling. And no, the Duff
sisters weren't the reasons (though some may argue they were a
symptom)--they actually conducted themselves well for what they were
given. But the typical flaws found in past Barbara Hall shows, which
were absent in the first season, are beginning to show this season.
