Some good points. He may have sought a simpler relation****p
with Bonnie but the main reason he liked her at first was
because of the shared interest and excitement she had with
art--this was lacking with his relation****p with Joan. This
could be a reason though to subconsciously want to destroy
the Joan relation****p in favor of Bonnie. I'm thinking now
it might be a little bit of all of these things taken
together...plus being further conflicted in that the Bonnie
relation****p was turning out to be not as simple as
expected. But the ***ual desire still was the initial
over-riding factor I think. It's certainly not a
cut-and-dried situation...which shows how good the writing
