I was kind of disappointed to not see Cute Boy God on the JOA season
finale. Let me emphasize, my interest in him is not in his "cuteness"
per se. I just think that he brings one of the most appealing
personalities to God -- a very graceful mixture of charm, warmth,
gentle irony, and empathy. He projects a great deal of intelligence
as well. I don't know who the actor is who plays the role, but I
think he is great for the part.
He has not been around for most of this season. Does anyone have any
idea -- is the actor off shooting a movie, or is he in rehab, or did
he simply ask for too much money or otherwise damage his relationship
with the producers?
By the way, and for what it's worth -- I'm really wondering if, with
"Something Wicked This Way Comes", JOA has not jumped the shark. I
don't want to make a premature judgement -- assuming the show is
renewed for next year, I'll give it a chance. But I have my doubts.
However, I really did like the interplay between Kevin and the ex-nun.
