Dawn and her best friend Janice going trick or treating with a couple of
cute guys they'd met at a party. The cute guys turned out to be vampires.
It was the ep just before the musical.
Amber played Janice, who had been referred to several times before, and
was also referred to in episodes afterward (she was the one that Dawn
would stay overnight with, when the plot needed her out of the way), but
only actually appeared in that episode.
Buffy: "You went parking on Lover's Leap with a vampire??"
Dawn: "I didn't know he was a vampire! I just met him this afternoon."
[beat - turn up the outrage]
Buffy: "You went parking with a boy you just met this afternoon?!?"
