I agree with you about this. When I wrote "it is moral (and sensible)
choice", I meant the GENERAL choice NOT to have ***, rather than the
deception of the "I'm just not ready".

In speaking about the speak method of HOW to relay that choice (and as
you say, it's different when you're 15 or 30, but for an adult woman)
saying "I'm just not ready" if it's a religious thing (or whatever
else) *is* a deception and I agree that's wrong.
