This is sooooooooooooooo typical

I just found out that my favorite new show of the past few years, "Joan
Of Arcadia", has been cancelled.  I am shocked.  It was only a few
months back that my local newspaper weekly TV listing magazine had a
cover story about how successful and innovative the show was.  There
was no indication that ratings were bad.

CBS's rationale is that the average age of the viewer was 58 or so.
And they want to attract young viewers.  It's hard for me to believe
that a show written about and for young people didn't have young
viewers.

I have a suspicion that what we are witnessing is behind the scenes
pressure from the Evangelical Right because Joan Of Arcadia made people
think about God and their lives, and did not interpret the Bible
literally.

What a shame.  I urge everyone to flood CBS with letters of protests.
