well, since you mentioned it..
it's not such a sad day, and it's not CBS's fault
if you have to lay blame somewhere, try Barbara Hall
JoA was a based on a creative idea, and was extremely well executed...at
first.
but, it ran out of steam, creatively speaking, by the end of S1,. and
recovered
only s****adically in a few high spots during S2
maybe it BH isn't really to blame at all
perhaps this was just never a premise that could be sustained week in and
week out
in a TV series format
but the obviously inept flailing for ratings, so evident in the final days
was,
truly painful to watch
I still shudder at the quote<sort of> S3 is going to be "Joan meets Buffy"
