I just watched "ND-Structible" on the Discovery Channel. Similar to
Junkyard Wars in that there were two teams with a time limit (8 hours)
charged with designing & building something, in this case a bridge.
Unlike
JYW, they were supplied with the materials and the competition consisted
of
2 phases. In Phase 1 each team's project had to pass a test. In Phase 2,
each team competed to see who could destroy the other team's project.
A couple of things I really liked about this show were that they spent a
bit
more time explaining the science/engineering of the designs. And the
host,
Mike Rowe, is way better than any of the male JYW hosts other than Robert.
