Bruce,
We have been privileged in this group to have had several folks associated
with the show discuss some of the goings on behind the scenes. I have done
some production work in the past and know that the finished cut can appear
pure fantasy compared to the way things went in actuality. The purpose of
the
show, in the US at least, is to sell advertising time. That often times
colors the way the final edits are made. So it is always nice to have
insider's view on how a build was chosen and any of the details that
didn't
make it to the screen.
Interesting sounding CD. How do I get my hands on one?
How do your neighbors back home view your hobby? I get complaints here
sometimes about noise just using a leaf blower (for what it was intended -
no less) not to mention I took up blacksmithing as a hobby. Banging out
small pieces isn't too bad but larger ones do tend to make a racket.
