I was actually surprised Hacket's design worked at all. The metal
wheels with paddles have just dug into the sand all the previous
times they were tried. Col. Dick's design was completely insane,
but worked reasonably well considering how BAD a design it was.

Both machines did hit all the gates, just not on one run.

The other annoying feature that wasn't mentioned was the school
yard picking teams bit. I wouldn't mind if the teams were the same
for all the episodes. The picking teams bit is just designed to
create tension. There is enough tension without having to create
extra. The teams that can work together through a difficult build
are much more enjoyable to watch then the teams that spend their
time bickering.

Butthead was as annoying as ever, and got a 30-second skip every
time he opened his mouth. Bimbo was still looking the part, but
wasn't sounding as stupid as last season, at least so far.

For Hacket's design, they should have used some of those wide short
tires and lowered the pressure in them. The truck tires they
thought about using were all wrong.

Last season can be called 'Butthead and Bimbo's Annoying Adventure'.
Hopefully this season is better.
