I, for one, have appreciated many of the UK shows that were im****ted for
the
US market. Many of the skits from Monty Python and Benny Hill were
priceless.
If I understand correctly, UK tele is not funded by advertising as it is
here in the US. Here, content worth seems to take a back seat to making
time
to sell me something.
Oh well, may try to buy the videotapes if NTSC format is available. Even
so
a multi-standard VCR or PAL/NTSC format converter is beginning to look
attractive. Hmmm, does anybody know if the chanel4 is available on
satellite?
