I just find it hard to believe that Win98 had minimum requirements of a
90mhz 8086, 4meg of ram and somewhere about 100meg of disc space. Now
Vista
comes along and needs a minimum 1ghz 32 or 64 bit processor, 512meg ram,
15gig of disc space... and that's just for home basic. Just got to ask
myself if it is progress or bloatware?
I miss the days when I designed micro controllers with 4mhz system clocks.
My first design was with the intel 8008 back in '75. Things have changed
so
much since then.
