I was a bit premature...
Found the scrapheap mega challenge locomotive special

You can watch either on the tube (can't seem to save though) or use a
handy
tool called vdownloader from www.vdownloader.es to make a local copy.
After you install the tool, you can set the options of what format you
want
the file saved in and paste most any website containing video into the
window. It will download the file and save in the requested format. This

seems to work on the above link as well as youtube and google video pages
