I thought I would like this one and I did, the only thing I could have
done without was the Elliot and the bully story, it would have been
better if they had found a way to bring Elliot into one of the other
plots - perhaps he could have tried to give (unwanted) advice for
Simon's video and at the same time revealed Tess's identity?
Also, NBC's description of the Nina story was almost totally wrong! I
wonder what happened...
But getting to the Finch story, I want to watch it again but I really
did like it because it brought up something I've thought about but
they've rarely dealt with - Finch, who works for an incredibly
successful man, has apparently no ambition of his own whatever. Of
course as a sitcom character he can't change that much - otherwise you
have no sitcom, but it works because he doesn't seem to know *how* to
change. Thus he pretends to be Jack by accident and finds out he likes
it, as a fantasy. This was neatly accomplished, I really liked the last
scene between David and George in which the characters discuss this.
My other favorite part was Nina's line to Tess:
"I can have you committed! My grandmother did it to me!"
He he he.
